The milk treatment plant is main department where raw milk passes through several stages of treatment in various type of processing equipment before the milk will turn on of a finished product.

The milk treatment plant is main department where raw milk passes through several stages of treatment in various type of processing equipment before the milk will turn on of a finished product. This is where main processing stages are going on: clarification (from bacteria, yeasts and mold spores), separation, standardization, deaeration and/or deodoraton, homogenization, HTST pasteurization or UHT treatment of standardized milk or skim milk and cream. This department is main user of heating and cooling media, compressed air as well as water and electricity.

The processing equipment is controlled through the central control unit.

The input data and control of all processing stages as well as transfer of milk to further processing is carried out from central control unit.

The information about modes of operation is displayed on central control unit, control of processing equipment operation, correction of processing and control of CIP is carried out from central control unit.

The distribution of milk flows is carried out by system of pneumatic valves. Information about state of processing or CIP is displayed on colour touch panel. The information about of functions, e.g. opening or closing of product lines is also displayed in here.

For control of processing, the indicators that measure a processing parameters are shown in a colour touch panel. These are capacity, separator safety indicators (vibration, bowl speed, oil temperature), separation temperature, pasteurizer inlet and outlet pressure, vacuum level in deaerator, pasteurization temperature, pasteurizer outlet temperature, temperature of hot and ice water feeding to pasteurizer, homogenization pressure, milk level in the tanks, agitator operation, volume and temperature of milk in the tanks.

The current processing parameters are automatically recorded and are archived in a flash memory.

The milk treatment plant may include standardization unit and local CIP station with automatic control of conductivity of the cleaning solutions and CIP programs.

According to customer's request, it is possible to provide remote access to milk treatment plant.
